Your child won't feel it - We all know that our children should have some sort of ID on them at all times, especially if they are non-verbal. But some children with autism are easily bothered or distracted by the normal type of ID products, like bracelets or "dog tag" types of items.

Easy to use - It's so easy to apply an autism tattoo to your child, too:

• First, just decide where on your child you want the tattoo to go. Keep in mind that, while you may want it to be an area where your child won't notice it, you want it to be in a place where it can be found if it's needed!
• OUR suggestion for placement if you think your child will mess with it: back of an upper arm, just above the elbow. The best results are achieved on an area free of much body hair, so that area is perfect.
• If you don't think your child will have a problem with it, put the autism tattoo on the back of a hand, the easiest place to find it!
• Wash the area of application with soap and water, and dry it thoroughly.
• Once the area is completely dry, just peel off the clear, protective top sheet, and place the autism tattoo face down on the skin.
• Hold a moisture wipe against the back of the autism tattoo and press down firmly. Hold for 30 seconds. (A moist towel, paper towel or sponge can also be used to saturate the tattoo.)
• At that point, you should carefully lift a corner to see if the tattoo has adhered to the skin. If you need to, leave the wet cloth on for a few more seconds, and then carefully peel the paper off the skin.
• Once the autism tattoo completely dry, you can write your emergency phone number directly onto the space within the tattoo, and your child is good to go, complete with an ID that won't come off for a few days!
